Haddon Counselling & Support QLD

By accessing or using the services provided by Haddon Counselling & Support QLD (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

  1. Services Provided

Haddon Counselling & Support QLD provides professional counselling services to individuals, couples, families, children, seniors, and veterans. Services may include in-person, telephone, or online sessions, and are delivered by qualified and registered practitioners.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access our adult counselling services unless attending under the care or supervision of a parent/guardian. Children’s services require the consent of a legal guardian.

  1. Appointments and Cancellations
  • Appointments must be booked in advance via phone, email, or our website.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a partial session fee.
  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a suspension of services.

 

  1. Fees and Payment
  • Fees are payable at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, card & bank transfer.
  • Rebates may be available through Medicare or private health funds, where applicable.
  • Fee schedule is subject to change with notice.

 

  1. Confidentiality

All information shared during counselling sessions is kept strictly confidential, except where:

  • There is a risk of harm to you or others
  • We are legally required to disclose (e.g., under a court subpoena)
  • You provide written consent to share information with a third party

  1. Online and Telehealth Services
  • Online sessions are conducted through secure platforms to maintain confidentiality.
  • You are responsible for ensuring a private and distraction-free environment during your session.
  • Internet connectivity and technical issues are the client’s responsibility.
  1. Emergency and Crisis Situations

Haddon Counselling & Support QLD is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent mental health support, contact:

  1. Limitation of Liability

While our practitioners adhere to professional standards, we make no guarantees regarding outcomes. You acknowledge that counselling is a collaborative process and results may vary.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haddon Counselling & Support QLD is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damages arising from your use of our services.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, logos, and resources, is the intellectual property of Haddon Counselling & Support QLD and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
